EPD’s relentless manhunt operation yields in the arrest of the EPD’s Top 8 Most Wanted Person for the crime of Acts of Lasciviousness under Sec 5 of RA 7610 (2 counts) and Acts of Lasciviousness in rel. to Sec. 5 of RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648 (4 counts), at about 10:30 AM of October 26, 2024, at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, Pasay City.

According to the report reaching PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO, Officer-in-Charge, EPD, the accused was identified as alias “Robert”, 48 yrs. old, construction worker, and a resident of Brgy. Gatug, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Prior to the arrest, series of surveillance and investigation was made by the authority to locate the whereabouts of the suspect. When the operatives obtained accurate information of the accused whereabouts after a long run, joint operatives of DSOU (lead unit) together with the EDHPT, DIU and Pasig CPS Warrant Section officially conducted manhunt operation which resulted to the immediate arrest of the suspect NAIA Terminal 3 upon arrival.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Hon. Judge CARMENCITA V.P. LACANDAZO LOGAN of RTC Branch 12, Pasig City dated October 25, 2023.

Alias “Robert” was informed of the nature of his arrest and was appraised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known to him.
Thereafter, accused was brought to EPD-DSOU office for proper documentation and subsequently brought to Rizal Medical Center for medical examination. Later, the accused was turned over to Pasig City Custodial Facility for his temporarily custody.
