
The Eastern Police District conducted a Simulation Exercise on the 5-Minute Response Time Program of the C,PNP at Pasig City Police Station held in the morning of June 10, 2025 at EPD Headquarters Conference Room, Caruncho Avenue, Pasig City. The activity was designed to test the operational readiness, swift response capabilities, and coordination mechanisms of the Pasig City Police in handling various emergency scenarios.
The event was attended by Pasig City Mayor Victor Ma. Regis “Vico” N. Sotto, who expressed full support for the continuous improvement of the city’s safety and security measures. His presence highlighted the importance of collaboration between the local government and law enforcement agencies in promoting public safety.
Also in attendance was PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, District Director of the Eastern Police District, who provided valuable insights during the conduct of the simulation. He emphasized the need for consistent training, exercises and strategic preparedness to effectively and immediately respond to any threats or crises.
Leading the exercise was PCOL HENDRIX B MANGALDAN, Chief of Police of Pasig City Police Station, who ensured that all components of the activity were carried out in accordance with standard protocols and best practices. The simulation featured various critical scenarios that tested communication, coordination, and tactical decision-making with the help of modern technology through the EPD Command Centers.
Throughout the activity, Pasig CPS personnel demonstrated their proficiency in handling high-pressure situations while upholding public safety and order. A post-exercise evaluation was also conducted to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
The Simulation Exercise underscored the commitment of the Pasig City Police to enhancing their capabilities and maintaining a state of preparedness at all times especially in achieving a 5-minute response time. It also reinforced the strong partnership between the local government and law enforcement in ensuring the peace and security of the city.
