As part of the continuing pursuit of Eastern Police District against all Wanted Persons, a 19 yrs old male suspect listed as NCR’s Top 4 Most Wanted Person for the crime of Statutory Rape was arrested through manhunt operation conducted by the elements of EPD DMFB Intelligence Section together with the EDIT-RIU-NCR-IG, DIU, Warrant and Subpoena Section and Intel Section Navotas CPS at about 4:00PM of April 6, 2024 at Portofino Heights Village, Brgy. Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City.

According to the report reaching PBGEN WILSON C ASUETA, DD, EPD, the accused was identified as alias “JOSH”, waiter, and a resident of Tanza, Navotas City.

Investigation disclosed that after a series of surveillance made, the aforesaid operatives tracked the whereabouts of the said accused which led them to conduct manhunt operation which positively resulted to the arrest of “JOSH” by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Cecilia Bunagan Parallag, Presiding Judge, Family Court RTC Branch 9, Navotas City dated February 13, 2024.

The accused was informed of the nature of his arrest and was apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known to him.

Thereafter, he was brought to the EPD-DMFB Intelligence Office for proper documentation and later to Rizal Medical Center for medical examination.

The accused was later turnover to Pasig CPS for disposition.
