At about 1:00PM of May 24, 2024, one male drug target was nabbed by the EPD DEU operatives at Brgy. Rosario, Pasig City. More or less 16.63 grams of suspected shabu was seized from the said operation.

According to the report, the suspect identified as alias “Atan”, 40 yrs. old was arrested through buy-bust operation.

The suspect was informed of the nature of his arrest and was apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known to him.

Markings and inventories of seized drug related evidence were conducted at the actual place of occurrence in the presence of a Brgy. Official and media representative.

Thereafter, the arrested suspect was brought to DDEU office for proper documentation. Confiscated illegal drug evidences were also turned over to PNP Forensic Group, Camp Crame, Quezon City for further analysis and custody.

Currently, alias “Atan” was detained at Pasig City Custodial Facility for proper disposition. Criminal charges for Violation of R.A. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was filed against him. ###
