The Eastern Police District, under the leadership of PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO, Officer-in-Charge continues to record outstanding results in crime prevention initiatives and emphasizes ensuring public safety and security throughout the Metro East, especially this recently New Year celebration. This is in line with the directives of PBGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, Acting Regional Director, NCRPO.

Covering the period from December 28, 2024 – January 3, 2025, EPD’s significant accomplishment mainly contributed to the Peace and Order in the Metro East, which indeed highlights the proof application of the “AAA” Policing of being “Able, Active and Allied” members of the NCRPO.

EPD also intensified the campaign against wanted individuals apprehending a total number of 23 suspects, including 1 Top Most Wanted Person, 2 Most Wanted Persons and 20 other wanted persons.

In the anti-illegal drug operation, EPD conducted 32 operations, which led to the arrest of 50 individuals and seizure of 216.2 grams of shabu, 18.6 grams of marijuana, along with other drug paraphernalia with a total Standard Drug Price (SDP) of PHP 1, 469, 332.00 reflecting the unwavering determination of the EPD to eradicate illegal drugs throughout the district.

EPD’s anti-illegal gambling campaign conducted 23 operations, which led to the arrest of 39 violators and the confiscation of PHP 8,560.00 in bet money. Efforts to combat illegal firearms or loose firearms have also been successful, with 5 operations resulting in the confiscation of 5 firearms and the arrest of 5 offenders.

PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO emphasized, “We will continue to eradicate illegal drugs in our AOR and hunt down those wanted criminals. Lawless elements have no place in the Metro East to carry out thier nefarious activities. EPD will remain alert and vigilant to safeguard the community against law breakers.”
