EPD’s fight for a drug-cleared PaMaMariSan was strengthened thru the arrest of a drug dealer. On a buy-bust operation conducted by the District Drug Enforcement Unit on May 30, 2025 at about 3:00 AM at Brgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, a drug peddler was apprehended.
PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, Officer-in-Charge EPD acquired information from PLTCOL DARWIN A GUERRERRO, Chief DDEU that the suspect was identified as a.k.a. “Ken”, a 16-year-old CICL, resident of Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City and is now listed as Newly Identified High Value Individual.
The buy-bust operation emanated from a report from a private informant regarding the illegal drug operation of a.k.a. “Ken” at the given address. Immediately, the operatives conducted surveillance and validation and were able to obtain positive information. The operatives executed the buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of the CICL.
Confiscated were 30 pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated weight of more or less 191.1 grams with Standard Drug Price of Php 1,302,880.00- and one-piece heat-sealed transparent plastic containing suspected dried leaves marijuana (kush) with an estimated weight of more or less 15.8 grams with SDP Value of Php 23,700.00

Cases for Violation of Sec 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drugs) and Sec 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Art II of RA 9165 otherwise known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” will be filed against him before the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office. The CICL is now under the custody of CSWD Pasig City while pertinent documents are being prepared for inquest proceedings. ###
