The Eastern Police District under the leadership of PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO, Acting District Director is ahead of the curve in the unified campaign towards a peaceful National and Local Elections (NLE) 2025.

With this,Mandaluyong City Police Station facilitated the conduct od Unity Walk and Signing of Peace Covenant held on March 25, 2025 at around 7:00 AM at the Mataas na Paraalang Nepatali A. Gonzales, Nueve de Pebrero st, Brgy. Mauway, Mandaluyong City.

The activity assembled and started with a Unity Walk in front of Center for Mental Health going to the aforesaid venue area which was participated by all local election candidates of Mandaluyong LGU, together with Stakeholders, COMELEC Representatives, BJMP, BFP and PNP spearheaded by PCOL MARY GRACE R MADAYAG, COP, Mandaluyong CPS and other Officers.

The said unity walk was followed with a program started with an interfaith prayer and a welcome remarks from Dr. Corazon R. Regino, Principal IV, Mataas na Paaralan ng Neptali Gonzales which was graced by ADD,EPD.

Highlighted the event was the message of support, peace and unity from Mandaluyong City DILG, School Division and COMELEC and a pledge and covenant signing of all the partcipants led by Atty. Juliet C. Villar, Election Officer IV, COMELEC Mandaluyong.

And in celebration of the 2025 Women’s Month, all women candidates received flowers. Further, flying of Unity Baloons and singing of COMELEC Hym concluded the activity.

Moreover, the said event aims to create a harmonious relationship among the candidates and concerned agencies of the government with the support of the citizenry as a whole towards a safe, secured and peaceful NLE 2025.
