The Salaam Police Section of District Community Affairs and Development Division, Eastern Police District led by PCOL CELERINO M SACRO, JR., Chief, DCADD and of Mandaluyong CPS headed by PCOL MARY GRACE P MADAYAG, COP in cooperation with Salaam Police Center of DPCRD, NHQ, PNP facilitated the conduct of “Community Dialogue on Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) ” held at around 8:00 AM on September 23, 2024 at Mandaluyong College Science and Technology, Acacia Lane, Brgy. Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.

The said activity was participated by 50 Force Multipliers (SPAGs, BPAT’s and Tanods) which was graced by PBGEN WILSON C ASUETA, DD, EPD along with PMAJ REYNALDO SALIM, Acting Chief, SPC, DPCR, PLTCOL ROBERT A DELOS REYES, ACOPA, Mandaluyong CPS, PLTCOL RHODERICK T PASCUA, DC, DCADD, and PCPT JURANA B OLLAGING, Chief, SCADS, Mandaluyong CPS.

Highlighted the activity was the lecture proper wherein the Force Multipiers of the said barangay were able to learn and understand about violent extremism with some lectures on anti-criminality and terrorism.

Further, EPD envisioned to have a strong relationship between the PNP and Muslim Community to ensure peace, security and progress within our society anchored on the CPNP’s mantra, “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka!”
