EPD DEU operatives successfully conducted a Drug Sting Operations resulting to the arrest of Two (2) suspects at about 9:30 PM on February 26, 2024 at Brgy. Rosario, Pasig City.

According to the report, the arrested suspects were identified as alias “SERGIO”, male, 57 years old, and alias “CID”, female, 42 years old, both a resident of the house where the buy-bust operation took place.

The operatives seized four (4) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing substance suspected as shabu weighing more or less 21.85 grams with estimated value of Php148,580.00.
The suspects were properly informed of the nature of their arrest and were apprised of their constitutional rights in a dialect known to them.

Present during the markings and inventory of seized illegal drug evidence were a Brgy. Official and a media representative.

The arrested suspects ware later brought to DDEU office for proper documentation and to Rizal Medical Center, Pasig City for physical and medical examination. Likewise, confiscated pieces of evidence were submitted to EPD Forensic Unit for Laboratory Examination.
Thereafter, they were turned over to Pasig CPS for proper disposition. Suspects will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002
