EPD’s relentless buy-bust operation yields in the arrest of one male drug suspect at about 5:30 AM of January 29, 2024, at Bolante Uno, Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.

PBGEN WILSON C ASUETA, District Director, EPD lauds the elements of EPD DEU for the successful operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect identified as alias “Mar”, 40 yrs. old, a resident of the said place where the operation took place.

The operatives confiscated 3 pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 15.9 grams worth Php108,120.00 from the said operation.

Markings and inventories of seized drug related evidence and recovered firearm were conducted at the actual place of occurrence in the presence of one Brgy. Official and media representative.

Thereafter, arrested suspect was brought to DDEU office for proper documentation, and later turned over to EPD Forensic Unit for Drug Test. Confiscated pieces of illegal drug evidence were also submitted for Laboratory Examination.

The arrested suspect was presently detained at Pasig City Custodial Facility for proper disposition. Cases for Violation of Art II, Sections 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 was filed against him.
