As part of the month-long celebration of the National Women’s Month 2025 with the theme ” Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”, the Eastern Police District under the leadership of PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO, Acting District Director through the District Community Affairs and Development Division headed by PCOL CELERINO M SACRO, JR, Chief, DCADD conducted Cervical Cancer Vaccine also known as “Human Papilloma Vaccine” (HPV held at around 8:30 AM on March 12,2025 at the EPD Multi-purpose Hall, Caruncho Ave., Brgy. Malinao, Pasig City.

Among the objectives of the HPV was to impart knowledge to the PNP female personnel in dealing and preventing gynecological problems, breast and cervical cancer as to extend quality and holistic health services through free medical consultations concerning women’s health.

The said activity was in partnership with the City Health Department of Pasig City LGU led by Myra Y. Endiafe, MD – Medical Program Coordinator WCPP together with Plaridel SespeƱe, MD- Medical Program Coordinator Cancer Program which aims to extend medical services through free consultations on cervical and breasts cancer.

HPV will be conducted in three sessions after 2 months and after 6 months from the date of its vaccination. While, the pap-smear will be free of charge and will be conducted in their clinic.

Further, IEC materials about Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness were also distributed during the activity.
