
In a firm and continues law enforcement operation being undertaken by the Eastern Police District to ensure safety and security within its area of jurisdiction, the Pasig City Police Station under the strong leadership of PCOL HENDRIX B MANGALDAN, Chief of Police, nets the Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Pasig City for Violation of the New Anti-Carnapping Law of 2016.
According to the report reaching PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO, Officer-in-Charge, Eastern Police District by PCOL MANGALDAN, that at about 2:00 PM of December 2, 2024, along East Bank Road, Brgy. Maybunga, Pasig City, joint operatives of Warrant and Subpoena Section and Anti-Carnapping Unit together with personnel of Rosario Police Sub-Station 7 conducted a manhunt operation that resulted in the arrest of the target accused identified as a.k.a. “Peter”, 29 years old, male, single, unemployed and a resident of Brgy. Maybunga, Pasig City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by HON. ROWENA DE JUAN QUINAGORAN, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 166, Pasig City, dated November 19, 2024, for Violation of RA 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Law of 2016) with bail recommended fixed at Php300,000.00, docketed under Criminal Case No. R-PSG-24-02978-CR.
An in-depth investigation shows that suspect Peter was involved in a robbery hold-up on August 25, 2017 and November 29, 2017, further arrested on November 28, 2018 in a drug buy-bust operation and involved in a carnapping incident on August 5, 2024. All his four criminal cases had been filed before the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office.
The successful operation stemmed from a series of validation and intelligence efforts of the operatives of Pasig CPS in line with the “AAA” Framework of PBGEN ANTHONY A ABERIN, Acting Regional Director, NCRPO which stands for Able, Active and Allied NCRPO Police Officers.
The arrested accused is temporarily placed in the custodial facility of the said station while waiting for the commitment order from the issuing court.
