At about 6:30PM of September 23, 2024, two male drug suspects were nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted by the EPD DEU operatives at Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Pasig City. Operatives seized more or less 37.90 grams of suspected shabu from the two suspects.

According to the report, the suspects were identified as alias “JP”, 32 yrs. old and alias “Janica”, 30 yrs. old, both residents of the said city.
The suspects were informed of the nature of their arrest and were apprised of their constitutional rights in a dialect known to them.
Markings and inventories of seized drug related evidence were conducted at the actual place of occurrence in the presence of a Brgy. Official and media representative.

Thereafter, the arrested suspects were brought to DDEU office for proper documentation. Confiscated illegal drug evidence were also turned over to EPD Forensic Unit for further analysis and custody.

Currently, alias “JP” and cohort were detained at Pasig City Custodial Facility for proper disposition. Criminal charges for Violation of R.A. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against them. ###
