Two (2) drug targets were arrested in a buy-bust operation of the EPD DEU operatives which was conducted at about 6:30 PM of September 2, 2024 at Brgy. Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.

The suspects were identified as alias “Loloy”, 26 yrs. old and alias “Jovelyn”, 32 yrs. old, residents of said city.

On the said operation, the operatives seized five (5) pieces heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu weighing more or less 26.3 grams and improvised handgun loaded with one live ammunition.

The suspects were informed of the nature of their arrest and were apprised of their constitutional rights in a dialect known to them.
Thereafter, arrested suspects were brought to DDEU office for proper documentation, and later turned over to EPD Forensic Unit for Drug Test. Confiscated pieces of illegal drug evidence were also submitted for Laboratory Examination.

Presently, suspects were detained at Pasig CPS Custodial Facility. Criminal charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was filed against them.
