The Department of Interior and Local Government initiated a program for a Clean and Green Environment entitled “KALINISAN (Kalinga at Inisyatiba Para sa Malinis na Bayan) sa Bagong Pilipinas Clean-Up Drive which aims to encourage Filipinos to maintain a clean and safe community to clearly addressed the problem in pollution, climate change, and poverty that can also leads to criminality.

In cooperation with San Juan City LGU, the said program was conducted early morning of June 22, 2024 at Dr. PA. Narciso St., Brgy. Corazon De Jesus, San Juan City wherein it was graced and attended by a representative from DILG, USEC FELICITO A VALMOCINA, Barangay Affairs Usec, Ms. Elizabeth N. Lopez De Leon, Asst. Sec. for Community Participation, Atty. Iza Marie D. Laurio, OIC, NBOO, Punong Barangay Medardo C. Cabubas, Brgy. Corazom De Jesus, San Juan City, and Hon. Vice-Mayor (Atty.) Angelo, Agcaoili, San Juan City.

As part of the PNP Core Values “MAKA-KALIKASAN”, the personnel of Eastern Police District under the supervision of PBGEN WILSON C ASUETA, District Director through the District Community Affairs and Development Division led by PMAJ DARIUS R AGMALIW, Chief, DPIO, EPD and San Juan CPS personnel led PCPT MAURO PAGUYO, SS4 Commander participated in the aforesaid program with the assistance of BFP, San Juan and PNP Advocacy Support Groups and other stakeholders.

Highlighted the activity were the Turnover of Seedlings for the urban gardening (HAPAG), Clean-Up Activity and MMDA’s Mobile MRF (Recyclable’s Mo, Palit Grocery Ko).
