Three drug suspects fell in the arms of the EPD DEU operations in a buy-bust operation conducted on June 26, 2024 at Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave., Brgy. Rosario, Pasig City. The operation also resulted in the confiscation of Four (4) pieces heat sealed sachet containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 21.19 grams.

According to the report from Chief DDEU, EPD, the suspects were identified as alias “Erick”. 27 yrs. old; alias “Reto”, 47 yrs. old; and alias “Joy”, 45 yrs. old and are residents of the said place of arrest.
The suspects were informed of the nature of their arrest and were apprised their constitutional rights in a dialect known to them.

Markings and inventories of seized drug related evidence were conducted at the actual place of occurrence in the presence of a Brgy. Official and media representative.

Thereafter, alias “Erick” and cohorts were brought to DDEU office for proper documentation. Confiscated illegal drugs were also turned over to EPD Forensic Group Unit for further analysis and proper disposition.

The suspects were placed under the custody of Pasig CPS Custodial Facility and are facing criminal charges for Violation of Sections 5 and 11 Art. II of R.A. 9165 or known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
